Why Birds Infest Barns and Feedlots  

Birds like barns and feedlots because they are warm, dry and the birds can eat as much as they like.  Birds are very social and once the word gets out, a flock of starlings can grow to 20,000 birds or more!  Propane cannons and cracker shells will annoy birds into leaving for a little while, but they always come back.
