Repel Cormorants

Cormorants are large, brown-black waterbirds. The Double-crested cormorant, the most widespread cormorant in North America, has a small patch of orange skin on their face in contrast with their dark feathers. Cormorants gravitate towards coastal and inland bodies of water, and are most commonly found in freshwater habitat. These birds feed on fish, but can become a problem for many around marinas or waterfront properties since they often congregate on docks.

Effective Cormorant Repellent

If your boat, dock, marina, koi pond or landfill has suffered loss due to cormorants, a Bird Gard unit can start protecting your impacted area today. Bird Gard achieves exceptional protection from birds by offering complete coverage of an area where herons are present. Areas not fully protected by Bird Gard will allow cormorants to begin feeding at the fringes of the sound coverage.

Electronic Bird Control

Bird Gard units are designed to effectively and permanently remove Cormorants from your property. A built in microprocessor in our electronic bird control units continually randomizes the order the sounds play and the relative pitch of each bird sound to give the impression many birds are in distress in the Bird Gard protected area. This random technology prevents Cormorants from becoming habituated and keeps birds out of your vineyard, crop, or orchard all the way through harvest.
